Aunt Sissy, will be sadly missed by us all. She was one of the strongest ladies I ever met. No matter how bad things could seem she always found the bright side. She sure was a female version of my Dad, told it like they saw it and di not hold anything back. I know my Dad had great respect for her and she was the one person he would take advice from.... She would say come on now Raymoind let's you and I sit down and have a cup of tea and talk about this.
So I am consoled knowing that she is now sitting down with Mom and Dad having a nice cup of tea catching up on everything.
Love and will miss you Aunt Sissy, be sure to say hi to the family for me.

To Marion's family & those who loved her most, I am so sorry for your loss. This week the Nova Scotia Community College lost one of it's most involved vocational alumni. Marion was key in the planning and delivery of several HCVHS reunions (her alma matter). After my first reunion with Marion, it was obvious that she was a leader among her former classmates and very well known and loved in this extended circle of friends. I worked very closely with Marion on these reunions and got a huge kick out of her opinionated nature and cheeky sarcasm. I was early into my career at NSCC when we met and I was so impressed by her energy, selflessness and her sharp wit. Even with the 48 years that separated us us, I truly considered Marion a friend and she will be dearly missed by me, her fellow HCVHS alumni and her NSCC family. Condolences.
