MacDONALD, Marilyn Marguerite, 77, Rines Creek.
Marilyn's family sadly announce her passing on August 12, 2014 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Shelburne, she was a daughter of the late Nathan and Mildred (Rogers) DeMings. She will be sadly missed by her husband Garth, children Terry (Bev) DeMings, Birchtown; Jim (Beate) Acker, Stewiacke; Bruce (Debbie) Acker, Cornwall, ON; stepson Stanley (Effie) Moore, Rines Creek; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers Stanley, Birchtown; Gerry, Calgary; Mac, Truro; sisters Laverne, Barrington; Diane, Churchover; Elaine, Truro. She was predeceased by her first husband Lloyd Acker, second husband August Moore, son Wade Acker, sisters Betty and Edna, and an infant sister, Beverly; brother Earl and an infant brother, Daniel. Visitation will be held 7-9pm Thursday in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. A funeral service will be held at 11am Friday in the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witnesses, 20971 Highway 2, Shubenacadie East, William Crandall officiating. Interment will be held in Pine Grove Cemetery, Shelburne. Donations in Marilyn's memory can be made to a charity of choice.
