GRONO, Cynthia Ann "Cindy", - 44, Shubenacadie, passed away June 18, 2014 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Prince George, BC, she was the daughter of Bill Singer and the late Sharon (Boutilier) Singer. She was employed at the Magnolia, Enfield. Cindy enjoyed cross stitching and T.V. bingo. She loved being around family and friends. She was a loving wife and mother and she adored her granddaughter. She will be sadly missed by her husband Jim, daughter Anita Grono, son James (Deanna) Grono; granddaughter Brooklyn; brothers Kevin Singer and Darryl Singer; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 7-9pm, Saturday, June 21 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie with funeral service 11am, Monday at St. George's Anglican Church, Dutch Settlement, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating, assisted by Rev. Patty McKenna. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Special thanks to the VON and the Palliative Care Team for their caring and kindness. Condolences, words of comfort and memories of Cindy may be shared with the family at: ettingerfuneralhome.com
