HILL, Carol Rita, Lantz. It is with shattered hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Carol Hill of Lantz, in the Halifax Infirmary Site of the QEII on June 8, 2014. Carol was born in Enfield on January 19th , 1951 to Rita (Benere) White and the late Charles White. She is survived by her loving husband Donald Hill, Lantz, N.S.; son Kelsey (Erin), Halifax, N.S.; daughter-in-law Melissa (Adams) Hill, Enfield, N.S.; and the "loves of her life" grandchildren Leslie, Lachlan and Bentley. She is also survived by siblings Theresa (Don) Mason, Windsor Junction, N.S.: Cheryl Langthorne, Enfield, N.S.; Charles (Lorna), Urbania, N.S.; Rose Mary Fancy (Wayne Palmer), Enfield, N.S.; Joe (Heather), Nine Mile River, N.S.; Blanche (Albert) Veinot, Lantz, N.S.; Johnny (Sharon), Urbania, N.S.; Nancy (Ed) Garden , Edmonton, Alberta; Patrick (Sarah), Elmsdale, N.S.; Michael (Patricia Young), Czar, Alberta; Elizabeth (Chris) Myers, Enfield, N.S.; Thomas (Michele) Enfield, N.S.; and Alice Taylor, Nine Mile River, N.S. Carol is survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews whom she loved dearly. She was predeceased by her son Devan Michael (August 2013), nieces Carrie White, Jennifer Fancy and nephew Martin Geoffrey Taylor. Carol worked at the Stanfield International Airport in Security where she made many wonderful friends among her co-workers. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of her life will take place 11am on Thursday, June 12, in St. Bernard's Church in Enfield with Father Frank Pellerin officiating. Reception to follow in the Enfield Fire Hall.
