Obituary of Stephen Patrick Sullivan

SULLIVAN, Stephen Patrick,“Steve”, age 82, of Stewiacke River Park Road, passed away January 22, 2025 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.

Born in Halifax, he was the son of the late Thomas and Josephine (Fraser) Sullivan.

Steve was a custodian for the School Board for many years.  He enjoyed playing his guitar and bingo. He loved dancing with his partner, Brenda.  After her passing he could often be found watching old time movies.

He is survived by stepchildren, George Davis, Corina (Charles) MacKenzie, Darrell (Charlene) Davis and Glenn Davis; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a great great grandchild; brother, David Sullivan; close friend, Miles.

He was predeceased by his partner of 41 years, Brenda Davis, stepson, Jeff Davis, grandson Kyle Davis,  sister Lorraine Beazley.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger’s Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2-4PM Sunday, February 2, 2025 in West Saint Andrew’s Community Hall, 1880 Coldstream Road, West Saint Andrews, Nova Scotia.

A private family burial will be take place in the Wittenberg Cemetery in the spring.

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
