Annie was a wonderful lady, always there to lend a helping hand (or shoulder to cry on). I'll always remember my very first 4-H Exchange Trip, all the way to Colchester County for a long weekend, with Annie as our Chaperone. We had so much fun that weekend. I often think back on many 4-H memories with Annie - Council Meetings, Woodsman, Tug-Of-War, Exhibitions, and so many more. There was always great food, helpful advice, and a smile.
I'm sorry for you loss and I hope your memories help you through this difficult time and know she will be missed by many.

Annie was a very kind and generous soul.
I have many fond memories of Annie during my years growing up on Weatherhead Road. (In most of those memories, she is wearing an apron.) She helped tend to many childhood scraps and bruises and the removal of the occasional fish hook gone astray.
I vividly remember the day she gave excellent care, and concern, to the young man who was on a multi-day 10-speed bicycling trip with a group of friends; he had the misfortune of wiping out badly as his bike was going at top speed from the top of "Pearl Neil's hill". He had the very good fortune of being invited into Annie's home as she carefully cleaned and dressed his wounds, fed him and gave him a place to stay until friends/family could pick him up (that wipe out was the end of his cycling trip).
I'm sure that man still remembers the kindnesses shown to him that day from a lady he'd never met before.
