Brenda Frances Harvey Obituary

HARVEY, Brenda Frances – age 75, of Maitland, passed away in Dykeland Lodge, Windsor on September 25, 2024. Born in Upper Kennetcook, she was a daughter of the late Howard and Irene (MacDonald) Dickson.


Brenda worked locally in her younger days.  She moved to Ontario for a time and later lived in British Columbia.  She eventually made her way back to Nova Scotia. Brenda enjoyed her walks, church and music while at Dykeland Lodge. 


Brenda is survived by her daughter, Allison Harvey; granddaughter,  Alykie Menard; sisters, Mary, Gloria, Sheila, Valerie and Sandra; brothers, Nelson and Myles; numerous nieces and nephews.


She was predeceased by brothers, Tony and Victor; sisters, Karen, Hattie and Phyllis; Marilyn in infancy.


Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale. 


A graveside service will be held 2pm, Monday, September 30, 2024 in Five Mile River Cemetery, Rev. Mike Poworoznyk officiating.  Light refreshments to follow at Winnie White's home, 58 Maggie's Lane, Gormanville, NS.
