Helen Marie Oakley Obituary

OAKLEY, Helen “Marie” (Ettinger) – 85, Williamswood passed away peacefully in the Victoria General Hospital. Born in Georgefield, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Edith (Clark) Ettinger. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence and brother Blaine. She is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Donald Stewart); Amanda (Terry Hunter, deceased); son, Dean (Ernestine); four grandchildren, Natalie, Melissa, Alexandra and Wesley. One great granddaughter Violet; sister, Mona (Charles Mullenger); two brothers, Wesley (Fran); Dale (Lois). As well as several nieces and nephews. Marie loved to crochet, fish, play crib and wongpoo.  Her favorite pass time was baking; especially large batches of homemade bread, most of which she gave away to family and friends. Marie was a kind, loving and generous person.  She was loved by all and will be sadly missed.  Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Victoria General Centennial Building for their long term care.
