It saddened me to learn of Maeve's passing. She was a Special Lady to me and I will miss her. I will always remember the time I was putting the gazebo up in Edie's back yard in Cambridge, and Maeve was sitting there, I teasingly called her the overseer. Your Mum loved it when I'd make my Corn Chowder for her, the deal was she would have to make the biscuits which would be passed onto my Sister.. One of my fondest memories is when we made the trip to Fergus to pick up my first kilt I ordered, then lunch in St. Jacobs. All are in my prayers,

Dearest Joe, Pam, Margo, Mike, Partners & families. I particularly recall the younger years with Aunt Maeve. She was incredibly warm and kind to me always. When I visited your home in Grand Lake,, I felt like family and we were. I will always be very grateful for that. I recall your Mom writing letters to Dad in her very eloquent block style font updating us on family news and events. The first time I ever tasted Chicken Cacciatore was when Aunt Maeve and Uncle Joe made it for Sunday Supper. Delicious! I love the memory of Aunt Maeve practicing the keyboard after lunch each day. I asked her how she liked it. She said she really enjoyed learning to play the music. I had no doubt that if she wanted it, it would definitely come to be. Thanks for the memories Aunt Maeve.
