My thoughts and prayers are with you Beverley and family. Your Mom was a great lady. She was such a "steadfast" in the community. She helped make things happen. My Mother said after the funeral that she has lost a great friend and will miss their conversations.

I was so sad to learn about Luella's passing. She was a fascinating lady with a love of life and a sharp mind. I will always remember her being at our house when I was a teenager - she trying to pierce my ears with ice cubes to freeze them. Lol ... it seemed like it took all afternoon to freeze them, but the job was finally done.

My sincere condolences to the family on your recent loss. My first recollection of your Mom was in the one room school in South Maitland, as she was my teacher in grade 1 and she was a good one. And my latest connection was about five years ago at the Senior Games at the Four Points hall for crokinole games. Always enjoyed chatting with her...a lovely lady! Take care and God bless!

luella was wonderful lady-- i met her first at the sr's games and then would drop in to visit her at her home--- what a life story please keep her memories close and she will never be far away
Luella was a wonderful lady and so full of life, always smiling and happy whenever we visited with Amy and Sophie. She loved seeing them and we enjoyed visiting with her. So sad to hear of Luellas passing. I met her, along with Beverley during a trip to Korea. She may have been small but her energy & love for life was amazing.
