Obituary of Archibald Lowell Carroll

CARROLL, Archibald Lowell – age 92, of Lantz, died at home on Sunday, January 14, 2024. He was the eldest son of the late James and Elizabeth (Ettinger) Carroll. 

Archibald is survived by his son, Vernon (Cathy) Carroll; daughter, Terrie (Raymond) MacDonnell; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Freddie Carroll; sisters, Erma Fraser, Irene Milbery; and first wife, Joyce Carroll.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Irma (Scott); daughter, Darlene Shackleton; brothers, Murray, Vernon, Arthur “John” and a sister, June Cole.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Elmsdale and Shubenacadie.

A graveside committal will be held 11am Saturday, May 11 at Christ Church Cemetery, Lantz, Rev. Dr. Jane Magrath officiating
