I was so sorry to read of Shirley's passing as I had many good memories at her kitchen table and lovely phone conversations with her. She was one of my favourite people and a very special lady with her great laugh and lively sense of humour. She will be missed. My condolences to Bernie and the rest of her family. Dear Bernie and family: I was so very sorry this morning to see that Shirley had passed away. I have many fond memories of Shirley - she was a real inspiration to our machine knitting group and we loved to hear stories about her beloved family and pets. So sad to learn that Shirley has passed. She was a valued member of Annapolis Valley Machine Knitters Guild for years. There are happy memories of attending seminars together. My last memory is of Shirley cranking out socks at our workshop. Sincere sympathy to you as you mourn her loss.

We played bridge with Shirley almost every week. We loved her sweet quiet personality. She was always good to play with and you would never hear a complaint or a bad word from Shirley. She was a devoted wife and mother and enjoyed her business. She will be greatly missed by all.
