Obituary of Elizabeth G Archibald

ARCHIBALD (SINGER), Elizabeth G. -age 82, of Truro passed away October 23, 2023 in Vimy Court, Truro. Born in Shubenacadie, she was the oldest daughter of the late Douglas and Olla (Grant) Singer.

Elizabeth retired from Department of Justice with many years of dedicated service in the Sheriff’s Department. She enjoyed travelling, especially to Nashville. She kept a daily journal, a tradition of her mother and grandmother. Elizabeth was known for her family and friends to be caring, never hesitating to offer her hand to someone in need.

She is survived by her sons, Chris and Kirk of Truro; sisters, Elaine Curry, Truro; Glenda Singer-Humphreys (Frank), Shubenacadie; and brother, Floyd Singer, Truro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brother, Ralph; and T. Earl Archibald, father of Chris and Kirk.

Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held at 3pm Monday, October 30^th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Pastor Frank Melanson officiating. Reception to follow. Burial in Brookside Cemetery, Mill Village.
