I moved to Goffs in 2003 and was lucky to run into and be neighbours with the Thompson family.
They treated me like family and I spent many hours at Maude’s and Donnie’s ( mom and pop) drinking tea. Maude always had some cookies, cake or pie for me.
I thought of Maude as a second mom. It broke my heart to hear of her passing through her son Donald (my best friend and brother).
Goffs lost a wonderful, beautiful and caring person and she will be greatly missed. Rest in peace mom
