I was so saddened by the news of Dave’s passing. He had become one of my favourite people and I am happy and honoured to have known him. He saved me from pulling my hair out many times in my property management business. He became a person I could rely on. And I did, probably more than I should have. But his calmness, his cleverness, his kindness and his sense of humour saw me through some pretty stressful situations. I thought the world of Dave. He was a true gentleman and a genuinely beautiful person. Rest in peace dear Dave. You made the world a better place.

Iv had the privilege of knowing Dave for many years growing up with his young’s sons Jake and Josh he was great mentor to me wether it be at the ball field at one of our games or at work where he gave a 16 year old kid his first really job and taught me hard can pay off without Dave”s help I would not be the man I am today without his mentorship and guides thank you Dave. When David was a wee one , he went missing .A search was conducted, no luck finding him outside. Turned out he was sleeping on a chair under the kitchen table . He woke up and couldn’t figure out where everyone was.

You are so lucky to have had those people in your life that have made you the wonderful men you are....your mother, your gramma and your father have seen you grow, helped you grow and took pleasure in everything you stand for. We met Dave on more than one occasion at the home of our daughter Kim and her husband Don Myers who are the grandparents of Max Connor. We also saw Dave at Ball games that his boys and their children were attending Never knew him long but liked him . He was a great grampy too. Our sincere sympathy to his family

My husband and I only met Dave over this past year through his business. Most recently we met several times at our kitchen table to plan a project. He was immediately a very likeable person and someone who you could feel like you’ve known him a long time. He was genuinely kind, had a sense of humour and was an excellent business person. It’s was obvious he took pride in his work, was on top of things, prompt, knowledgeable and always did what he said he was going to do. The mutual respect between Dave and Josh was evident. We last saw Dave Friday trucking past the front of our house to check in on the morning progress. I’m sad I didn’t get a chance to say hello and will not have the chance to see our project to the end with him and his big grin. Our sincerest condolences to Josh, the Landmark crew and Dave’s family and friends.
