Bill and I were co-workers for quite a lengthy period of time. His honesty, fairness and hard work served both clients and employer well.
He will be missed by his loved ones but I know there are many great memories to carry them forward.
Respectfully,

Pat, Cindy, Darlene and families,
We were deeply saddened when we received the call that Bill had passed. We had many discussions as to who got the best deal and there was a use for everything.
Although, the hammer and saw are now silent (always a project on the go) cottage life will be different. When we look in the hollow we will be constantly reminded of decades of memories, a great friend and neighbour.
Rest in peace Bill, you have earned your wings.
Sincerely.
Murray, Barb and Jonathan

I first met Bill when my husband and I moved to Caribou River in 2010 and I started walking daily on the beach. Always a smile and friendly greeting and he even contributed to my sea glass stash with his own find - no small thing. Eventually, I met you Pat, his dear partner. Your precious memories will bring tears and smiles. Hold them close in your heart as you move forward in your daily life.

Bill truly appreciated the craftsmanship of the arts and admired the work that went into the creations; for this is one of the many things that we will miss about Bill. Also,he loved to sit on the deck at his cottage, and share in stories with us. We will think of these times that we shared with our dear friend Bill. Bob and Hazel (MacKay) MacNeil

Dear Pat, Darlene, Cindy and families:
So sorry to learn of Bill’s passing. I know he’s had his health issues for some time and he is now at peace. Doug and I have many fond memories of the past—lots of laughs, excursions and swapping stories. He will be surely missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him and enjoy his company. A very talented man, indeed. I send my prayers to all of you during this difficult time. Take care, Jane (Aalders) St.Clair

Needed a bolt,a screw or a random piece of metal, Bill had it ... He never threw anything out. He was always there to lend a hand or offer a shoulder to lean on, to engage in lively conversations or appreciate the projects I had on the go.
He rarely passed up the chance to 'like the hornets nest' and loved watching the comings and goings around the Shore from the bug room. So much more than a friend, getting use to his absence will be hard.

My very short friendship with Bill was very sweet indeed. I will forever cherish the carved bird he surprised me with last summer, and will miss his wit and wisdom. Deep condolences to his lovely Pat, and the rest of the family.

Bill was a valuable member of the J.W. Lindsay family for over 35 years. We've circulated to a few of the remaining folks who worked alongside of him and a great number of stories are circulating. Wishing you strength and happy memories during this difficult time. We've made a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in Bill's name.

Patsy, Darlene, Cynthia and all your family
I was so sorry to read of Bill's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all as you must lose your husband, your Dad and Grandad.
Bill was a dedicated man to our St Bernard's family. I recall many good chats over the years, as I babysat for your family, collected "paper money" as I watch your family grow, and then ours as Wayne and I had our family.
No words will seem to ease the pain of your loss right now but may you be consoled in the days ahead by all the blessings of Bill's life to your family, our parish, and our community. We hold on to our faith in our times of great loss.
Hope to see you soon.
Love and hugs
Christine (McKeen) MacAskill

Dear Darlene, Cindy, and family
I have fond memories of Bill as he and Patsy spent a fair bit of time with mom and dad over the years. What I remember most is the laughter they shared whenever they were together. Dad and Bill were like two teenage boys when they were around each other. Laughing at each other's ridiculous jokes with mom and Patsy rolling their eyes in the background. All fond memories of Bill. I'm so sorry for your loss. There will be quite a gap in his absence.
Love to all
Tracy Isenor (Jordan)
