Obituary of Eldon Maynard Hughes
HUGHES, Eldon Maynard “Red” – age 80 of Stewiacke, passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2023, in Vimy Court, Bible Hill.
Red loved hanging out with his family and friends. He enjoyed playing pool, telling stories and listening to his country music.
Red is survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by grandparents, Dan and Cora Hughes.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 19th, 2023, from 1-3 PM in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 70, 299 George Street, Stewiacke.
The family would like to thank the staff at Vimy Court for their care of Red over the past few years and the residents of the town of Stewiacke for always treating Red like family.
