Obituary of Michael Stephen James Morash

MORASH, Michael Stephen James, age 23, of Enfield, sadly passed away on February 17, 2023 in Grand Lake.  Born in Halifax, he was a son of Matthew Minard and Krista (Glen) Boutilier.

Michael was so kind-hearted and could make friends anywhere he went. He loved music, especially playing his ukulele. He could pick up a skill and excel at it very quickly. He loved mountain biking and was never scared to attempt the challenging courses at the Calgary Olympic Park or the advanced courses in B.C. He loved to joke, he had a contagious laugh and he was always up for an adventure. Michael loved his family and friends, and will be missed dearly by all.

Besides his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Willard and Janet Morash, Marie Hayes (Ken McManaman) and Herb Minard (Patsy Tench); siblings, Grace, Jacob and Lilly; aunts Shelly (Jody), Susan (Karl) and Laura (Dylan); uncles, Willard (Wendy) and Darren; cousins, Brandon, Zachary, Zoey, Zander, Devin, Derek, Courtney and Hayes.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held 2pm Sunday, February 26 in Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie, Rev. A private family committal service will be held at Sand Hill Cemetery, Upper Nine Mile River at a later date.
