Obituary of Lorraine Mary Newey

NEWEY, Lorraine Mary - of Elmsdale age 83 passed away on January 19^th, 2023 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Summerside, Prince Edward Island, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Aldona (LeClair) Gallant.

Lorraine enjoyed playing Darts, Bowling and was an avid Bingo player who enjoyed spending time with her many friends. She was employed by Sears Canada and CARA flight Kitchen at the Halifax International Airport.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Fred; sons, Brian, Maple Ridge B.C., and Blain, Victoria B.C.; Brothers, Joseph (Gail) Gallant, Charlottetown P.E.I., Brother Gerard (Shirley) Gallant, Charlottetown P.E.I.; Sisters, Sheila (Alfred) Doiron, Elmsdale N.S., Donna (Gary) Larter, Cornwall P.E.I. and Deborah (Kevin) Clements, Charlottetown P.E.I..

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Homes, Shubenacadie and Elmsdale.
