Please share a memory of Patricia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

MCGILLIVARY, Patricia Ann "Patty" - It is with great sadness in our hearts that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann McGillivary of Enfield, NS on December 20th, 2022. Born 1960 in Pembrooke, Ontario. Out of all the places she lived, from Ontario, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, Grand Lake was considered her home growing up.

She is leaving behind her loving Husband, Angus Joseph McGillivary, they were together since 1985, their children; Danny (Kelly) Pembleton, Melissa (Cuyler) Wilson and Cody (Kelsey) McGillivary. Also leaving behind her beautiful grandchildren; Jenna, Brayden, Brooke, Ella and Jaxson; Her Sister, Crissy (Mike)Thomson; Brother, Robert John McDow. We can't leave out all her aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in-laws and many friends, too many to mention, but you know who you are.

Predeceased by her mother, Shirley Irene McDow, Father, Robert Frederick McDow and Brother, David Wayne McDow.

Patty has certainly left all of us with empty hearts but plenty of wonderful memories that we will all cherish for many years to come. Patty has lived well, laughed often, loved us all, but she wasn't done. Jesus took her from us way too soon. Patty left an impression wherever she went, she will be sadly missed. She had a few careers in her busy life, working in warehouses, driving forklifts, working restaurants, office work, school buses, worked with an oil rig at the Halifax shipyards, Limousine/Taxi Owner/operator. She loved boating with her Husband Angus, and friends of Oak Island Marina, she was always involved in organizing fun times. One thing she wanted you all to do is Live, Laugh and Love with all your hearts. Never too late to find and have peace of mind and find whatever makes you happy. To have no regrets in life, but if you do, to try and accept forgiveness.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale.
