Obituary of Irma Germaine Preeper

PREEPER, Irma Germaine – age 87 of Lantz passed away unexpectedly at home on December 18^th, 2022. Born in Halifax she was a daughter of the late James F. and Elsie May (Campbell) McDonald.

Irma was an active volunteer in her community and was naturally social. She was proud to be a founding member of the Lantz Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and a long standing member of The Order of the Eastern Star. Irma loved gardening, was a superb seamstress and baker.

Irma is survived by her husband, Edward “Ned”; son, Terry (Rose); daughter, Cindy (Cory); many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by siblings, Lloyd, Elva, Helen and Jimmy.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2pm Tuesday, December 27^th, at Ettinger Funeral Home, Elmsdale, 860 Highway 2, Elmsdale. The family requests that those in attendance to the Celebration of Life would kindly wear a mask and practice social distancing precautions.
