Obituary of Ross Elroy Dillman

DILLMAN, Ross Elroy – age 80, passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2022 at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Antrim, he was a son of the late Victor and Gertrude (Dunlap) Dillman.

Ross was a dedicated,  hard working man, at a young age his first job was working in the woods. Later on, he received his trade as a mechanic which became his primary career. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and playing cards.

Ross is survived by his companion of 24 years, Judy Mackenzie; son, Victor (Donna); 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ross was predeceased by sons, Shawn and Vernon; sister, Joyce; brothers, Floyd and Hughie.

Visitation will be held 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Wednesday December 7th, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, from where a funeral service will be held 11am Saturday December 10th, 2022,   reception to follow. Interment will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Antrim

Donations in memory of Ross may be made to the Lung Association.
