Obituary of Donna Ann Boutilier

BOUTILIER, Donna Ann – age 43 of Lantz, passed away on October 11, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Terrace Bay, Ontario, she was a daughter of Carl Boutilier and Anne Elizabeth Barry Boutilier Bostetter. 

Donna will be remembered as an energetic, fun loving, adventurous, loving mother. She spent her time with her four children, family and friends enjoying kayaking, reading, beaches, board games, cards, walks, movies and football. She loved summer for the outdoor adventure time with her children and fall for the beautiful and amazing colours. As a dedicated mother, she was always found with her children supporting them in all their endeavors. She will be remembered by those who knew and loved her as small but mighty as reflected in her strength and courage throughout her fight with cancer. 

Besides her parents Donna is survived by her children, Mason, age 19; Preston, age 17; Rory, age 15; Audrey, age 13; sisters, Christine Boutilier Gosbee and Yvonne (Dave) Boutilier Turgeon; nieces and nephews, Mackenzie, Hunter, Tanner, Julia. 

She was predeceased by her grandparents, Francis Barry, Ann Jones Barry, Donald Boutilier and Evelyn Grey Boutilier. 

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A celebration of life will be held from 2 – 4 PM on Saturday, October 15, 2022, at 192 Whitney Maurice Drive, Enfield. 

Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society directed to Cervical Cancer Research in honour of Donna Boutilier.
