Obituary of Dora Effie Chapman

CHAPMAN, Dora E., age 88 of Nine Mile River, passed away at Colchester East Hants Health Center on Sunday, September 18th, 2022.

She was the daughter of Mae (Rushton) Carter and George Carter.  She is survived by her children, Barbara (Lloyd), Terry (Renita), Julia, Kevin (Rose), Margot (Bill); brother, Duncan Carter; as well as grandchildren, Candace, Kyla, Allison, Angelina, Laura, Shawn, Douglas, Scott, BJ, Theresa, Ricki, Logann, as well as many great-grandchildren and nieces/nephews. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, daughter, Janice, infant granddaughter, Sara Thompson.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No visitation or service will be held at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Dora may be made to the SPCA or a charity of your choice.
