SHAW, Michael Andrew-age 58 of Gays River passed away July 6, 2022, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Dartmouth, he was a son of the late Margaret (Tobias) Shaw and Edward Shaw.

Mike loved hockey and baseball; he was a loyal fan to the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays. Although he didn’t go far from home, he enjoyed road trips visiting oceanside views across Nova Scotia.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Darlene; son, Matthew, stepdaughter, Angelina; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth (Dave) Benjamin, Anne (Winnie) Walker, Sharon Tobias; brothers John (Sandra), Joe; several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Tommy and Steve.

Cremation has taken place. A funeral service will be held 2pm Monday, July 11th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie; Rev. Natalie Buchanan-Rutherford officiating.
