Lonnie and I have so many fond memories of Bill. We were classmates in Pharmacy at Dal, Lonnie lived with Bill at university, and I worked with Bill at Devon Pharmacy. We saw him often during those early years when we were all finding our way as we began our pharmacy careers. Integrity, care, kindness and the willingness to try anything were all of Bill’s trademarks….and then there was that beautiful, ear to ear Bill Watson smile! We will miss him, as will everyone whose paths he crossed. Our warm thoughts go out to his family….may he continue to guide and comfort you as you move forward knowing he is always with you… showing you the way, and smiling, of course. With love and full hearts, Janet and Lonnie Gagnier

So sorry for your loss, Bill was a genuine, kind and loving gentleman with a great smile. We had the pleasure of getting to know Bill throughout the community and our kids being the same age, involved in the same sports and going to the same school. He will be remembered for being involved with the community, enjoy watching whatever the kids were involved in and always greeting us with a smile at the Guardian. He will be truly missed. I first had the opportunity to meet Bill, when David needed physio. Bill was a pretty quiet guy when he first came in with David but within time, we would chat while he waited for David. I did not see him again until he moved to the Guardian Drugstore. I stop in and it was like old times, we would have a brief talk about the boys and what they were involved in. He was a very proud father to both the boys and girls. It appeared that he had many adventures over his short life. RIP Bill, you will be missed by many.

The Colchester Royals would like to send our deepest sympathies to Bubba and his family on Bill's passing. Bill was a great supporter of the team coming to multiple games and tournaments around the country to cheer the boys on. His generosity and support will never be forgotten. One of our fondest memories as a team will always be the tournament we played in Fredericton NB and Bill invited the entire team to stay at Watson's Lodge. It was an amazing weekend both at the field and on the lake. Thank you for the memories. Rest in peace

I was saddened to read of Bill's death. I met Bill back in the late 70's when we were tasked with updating the Pharmacy Act for New Brunswick. Despite the rather dry subject matter, we had many laughs and Bill was such a valuable member of the committee. A few years later I moved to Fredericton and worked with Bill at Devon Drug until he left to follow his dreams in NS. I was lucky to have enjoyed a number of visits to the famous Watson Lodge. Bill was a good friend, a hard worker, a great pharmacist. Although I have not seen Bill in a number of years, I shall miss him. We shared some good times, and lots of laughs. He had such a great smile.

I would like to extend my sincerest sympathy to Bill’s entire family. I worked with Bill for many years at the Shubenacadie Drug store. I must say Bill was one of the best bosses I ever had. In all the years we worked together I never once heard Bill raise his voice or lose patience with anyone …… staff or customer. I considered Bill to be a friend as well as a boss. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rest easy my friend.

Dear Blair, Lil, and Family,
We were so sorry to learn of Bill's passing, sadly so early into his much deserved retirement. I recall an extended visit we had many years ago on a flight originating in Vancouver where I had attended a Board Meeting. When I boarded the plane, I was surprised to hear someone call my name; I assumed it was a fellow Board member travelling home, but it was Bill, also returning home. We managed to change our seating for a great visit for the duration of the flight. We marvelled at the chances of a couple of boys from Little Settlement connecting on a flight at the other end of the country years later! Clearly, Bill was held in high regard by all who knew him and will be missed by so many, especially of course, his own family. May God grant you all His comforting presence and peace, both now and the weeks ahead.
Love to All,
Brad and Margie Little
