Obituary of Dolly Hennigar

HENNIGAR, (CROSSMAN) Mona “Dolly” – age 86, of East Noel, passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, on March 21, 2022. Born in Moose Brook, she was a daughter of the late Joseph “Joe” and Bernetta “Babe” (Densmore) Crossman.

Dolly moved numerous times over the years, lived in various places in the Atlantic provinces following her husband’s postings in the Bank of Nova Scotia. She loved her family, enjoyed her pet cats and was very kind to all wildlife. Before her illness she enjoyed doing the crosswords and cryptoquotes.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Faye (Charlie) Ryan, Lynn Thoms (Ricky Lattie); grandsons, Jason (Melissa) Ryan, Ryan (Kristyn) Thoms, step grandchildren Ashley Lattie (Jeremy Zmurchyk), Vaughan Lattie; great grandchildren Nolan Ryan, Taryn and Grady Thoms, Zander and Zayden Zmurchyk, Irey, Mason and Nolan Lattie.

She was predeceased by her husband, Ralph; partner, Lawrence Clark; twin sisters, Etta Hennigar and Ellen Laffin.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie.

A graveside service will be held 11am, June 4, 2022 in the Noel Cemetery.
