THOMSON, Phyllis Margaret Elizabeth “Beth” - age 53, of Halifax passed away February 10, 2022 in the QEII Health Science Centre, HI Site, Halifax. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Phyllis (Dorey) Thomson.

Beth had a quick wit and made many friends at Arbourstone Enhanced Care in Purcell’s Cove. She was known to remember everyone’s birthdates, appointments and names to an amazing degree.

She is survived by brother, Scott (Marianna) and sister, Heather Thomson-Ballah; brother in-law, Peter Cantle, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sister, Kathy Cantle and brother, Donald Thomson.

Visitation will be held 2-4pm Sunday, February 13th in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where a funeral will be held 11am Tuesday, February 15th, Pastor Chris Ivany officiating. COVID-19 protocols must be adhered to; proof of double vaccination and a government issued id must be shown to attend; masks are required.

Spring burial will take place in Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan.

Beth is now free from illness and is not bound to her wheelchair anymore. She is finally free.
