Obituary of Lee Ashley

ASHLEY, H. Lee – age 85 passed away peacefully on February 5, 2022 in the QEII Infirmary, Halifax. Born in Dutch Settlement, he was a son of the late Earl and Audrey (Isenor) Ashley.

Lee dedicated a career of 35 years to teaching elementary school children in various locations throughout Canada. He thoroughly enjoyed nights out with the bingo crowds and loved to play at the casino.

Lee is survived by his brothers, Vernon and Dale; many nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Ivan, Arnold, Malcolm and infant brother, Andrew; sister, Thelma.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022 in St. George's Anglican Cemetery Columbarium.
