Obituary of Priscilla Jean Paul

PAUL, Priscilla Jean – age 79, of Indian Brook, passed away at Elk Court, Brookfield, on January 18, 2022. Born in Malden, Mass. She was the daughter of the late Domenico and Josephine (Pascaro) Leone.

She was a “do it yourselfer”, one time she rebuilt a Mercury Bobcat all by herself.  She always enjoyed building and fixing things. She liked gardening and flowers. Priscilla loved to laugh and joke around. She was obsessed with horses, cats and dogs. She enjoyed horseback riding, shooting, hunting, doing puzzles and socializing.

She is survived by children, Dino (Wendy) Sacco, Bedford, Mass, Mark Paul, Halifax, Wanda (Stanley) Paul, Indian Brook, Allan M. “Allie” Paul and Mitchell Paul, Indian Brook; grandchildren, Margaretann, Jacob, Neal (Julia), Nancy (John), William, Nicholas and Aurora (Connor)  and many great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her ex-husband, John Paul “Sonny”, son Gary Matthew; daughter Catherine Reese and sister Joan Mauro.

Visitation 2-4 & 7-9 Saturday January 22, and Sunday January 23, 2022 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie.  Proof of vaccination and photo ID are required to enter and all COVID safety protocols will be followed and enforced.  

A private funeral will be held (following all COVID-19 safety protocols) at 11am, on Monday, January 24, 2022 in St. Kateri’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Phil Thibodeau officiating. Cremation will follow. Interment will be held at a later date.
