This joyous, heartfelt and beautifully written tribute would make any grandmother proud; it speaks to Audrey's personality and the influence she had on all whose lives she touched, perhaps even Fidel went back to Cuba with a few stories of his sledding experience with this remarkable woman! Dave, yours and Audrey's long partnership was of the kind that many could only imagine and with envy. How blessed you were to have found your "split apart.". I remember the kindness extended to this young flight attendant when she moved from Montreal to Gander to begin a new life in a small town where she knew no one. You and Audrey adopted me, looked out for me as if I was one of your own. My tiny basement apartment was an extension of your home, the kettle on for a cuppa tea when I dragged my weary self to the backdoor entrance after a gruelling 10 -12 hours of glamour working PV 103-104. The kitchen door was never closed to me, at any hour and there were some late ones! To the Gregory family I feel your sadness, your loss, but most of all your gratitude for her life.
