Obituary of Marilyn Hawks

HAWKS, Marilyn -age 81 of Georgefield, passed away peacefully at home on November 5, 2021. Born in Ottawa, she was a daughter of the late Maurice and Jesse (Bell) West.She was an avid reader and birdwatcher. Marilyn loved to travel, and she especially enjoyed her trips to Scotland with Larry.  She will be sadly missed by her husband of 57 years, Larry; son, Colin (Valerie); daughter, Erin; grandchildren, Liam, Alyssa, Emily and Reuben; great grandson, Dorian.  Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home and no service will be held.  Memorial donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the VON and Colchester East Hants Palliative Care team for their compassionate care of Marilyn.
