Obituary of Lois Josephine Creelman

CREELMAN, Lois Josephine-age 92 of Milford, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2021 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro. Born in Shubenacadie, she was a daughter of the late Reuben and Hilda (Delp) Joudrey.

Lois was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 111 and was a very active member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She held many offices within the auxiliary and had received her 50-year pin. She enjoyed knitting and gifted her family many items over the years; Lois loved brightly colored flowers and she also liked to dance. She loved spending time with her family, especially all her cherished grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Irene (Phillip) Isenor, son, Carl (Dawn); grandchildren, Charlotte, Michelle, Phillip Jr., Sally, Josie-Ann, Jamie Lee, Alana, Amanda and Kenny; 21 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; sisters, Lorna Barr and Lillian Cross; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by husband, Jamie; and her companion of 20 years, Kenneth Hardy; brothers, Billy and Buddy; sister, Eleanor Stevens.

Visitation will be held 7-9pm Sunday, September 12, 2021 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie from where a funeral service will be held 3:30pm Monday, September 13th, Rev. Gerry Kerr officiating assisted by Lori Crocker, DM. A reception will follow in the funeral home hospitality area. Cremation will follow and a graveside service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care and concern shown to Lois by the wonderful staff at Cedarstone Enhanced Care in Truro.
