Obituary of Jane Elizabeth Adema

ADEMA, (Paul) Jane Elizabeth - It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected passing on August 5, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, of our mother, grandmother and great grandmother.  Born April 26, 1936 to William and Sarah Paul.

She was a devoted Roman Catholic and a member of St. Anne’s Ladies. Her humour and kindness will be missed by all.

She is survived by sons, John, Indian Brook, Peter, Spryfield, Angus, Windsor; daughter, Oona, Amherst; brother, Daniel, Spryfield; sisters, Rebecca, Mary Evelyn, both of Indian Brook, Rosalita, Shubenacadie; beloved grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren; beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Jane was predeceased by son, Carl; brothers, John, Robert and Lawrence; sisters Rhoda and Violet.

Visitation will begin at 2 pm Saturday, August 7 at 497 Hollywood Drive, Indian Brook. 

A funeral service will be held 11am Monday August 9, 2021, in St. Kateri’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Ron Cairns officiating.

Interment will follow in the St. Catherine’s Cemetery
