I couldn’t write on here for awhile as it’s still very emotional for me. Grace was my best friend. We were neighbour's growing up, we did everything together. We went all through school together, joined the military together, got in trouble together, but more importantly made amazing memories together. Grace was the kindest, most generous, loving, supportive person I have ever met. She found her life partner with John and together they built a happy life together. I will never forget when she found out she was pregnant with Jenna. She said it was a miracle and a dream come true, she knew her purpose in life was to be a wife and a mom. She loved you both wholeheartedly and still does but just from a distance. To Rose and the late Lauchie along with her siblings, thank you for letting me be a part of her life from the beginning. You all hold a special place in my heart forever. Until we meet again Grace, I love you!

Hello John,
I want to express my condolences to you and your family, and Grace's family. I was very saddened to read of Grace's passing.
I’ve recently changed jobs, and it is a role like many in my past that will lead me to meeting many larger than life people, like Grace. Both of you were highlights from my previous job, with your commitment to health and safety and making OHS staff feel very welcome at your workplaces. Grace's impact will continue to resonate.
My thoughts are with you.
Peace

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Grace's family. She was a very kind lady. I didn't know her well but I am with 40 n change, the singing group that sang at the firehall after the Christmas parade for the last few years. She was very welcoming and helpful and made our performances fun as she cheered us on. We are sure she will be greatly missed by her family and the Enfield Fire Hall. Hugs to her family and friends.

Dear John, Jenna and Family,
The Scott Family (specifically Patricia, Nicolle, Natalie & Nadina) would like to express our sincerest sympathy for the loss of such a wonderful soul, Grace. We were just heartbroken when we heard. We've known Grace since 2017, as our loved one, Bill, is a resident at Bissett Court. Her love and compassion and concern for the residents and the families showed by everything she said and did. Whether she was up dancing with the residents or sitting at a table reading or coloring with them, she was very involved and it showed how much she cared. She will truly be missed by us and all who knew her. We call the workers at Bissett Court our Bissett Angels here on this earth and now we have one, Grace, in Heaven watching over all of us. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

My husband and I met Grace through her work at Bissett Court. She was always so kind and approachable. She would always update us on how my mother in law was doing. It was obvious how much she cared about the residents and her colleagues at Bissett. We will always remember her big smile any time she saw us. With sincere condolences to Grace’s family, friends and colleagues. She will be remembered. “ Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.Love leaves memories no one can steal.” Kim & Paul Hiscock, Dartmouth NS.

John and Jenna, I am so very sorry for your loss. I worked with Grace, when she was at the Big Stop.
She had a huge personality, loved life, and Jenna was her pride and Joy. I remember when she started off on her path to become a caregiver, and yes she had found her calling. She was an amazing soul, with a big laugh and an even bigger heart. Again so sorry, a life too short.

Grace lived her life loving people and caring for others she was a true example of how Jesus has called us to love one another. She has touch the lives of her family her friends and her coworkers. She will always be remembered. I remember working with Grace and her sister Donna ( one of my dearest friends) volunteering at a summer VBS camp in Cole Harbour at the Catholic Church. We worked in the kitchen making snacks for the kids. We had many laughs in that kitchen. Grace was fantastic to work with she had a great work ethic and love to think of what could we do next. To making huge cookies to putting gummy worms in pudding. We even made Rice Krispies squares that I think would of held wall paper on the walls. To blue jello with gummy fish. We worked together as children learn about Jesus. I so enjoyed my time with her and Donna. My heart goes out to Jenna and John as they learn to live there life without her. To her Mom Rose and the rest of the family may you find comfort in Jesus at this difficult time. To my dear friend Donna we have been friends for over 31 years if you need me for anything you know where to find me. When a friend hurts we hurt with them.
