Obituary of Donna Jean Smith

A Celebration of Donna’s life, will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021

SMITH, Donna Jean-age 75 of River John passed away February 24, 2021 in Aberdeen Hospital, New Glasgow.

Born in Truro on March 4, 1945, she was a daughter of the late George and Sadie (Woodworth) Howlett.

Donna worked for stockbrokers for several years. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage on the North Shore.

Donna is survived by her husband, Eddie and brother, Michael Howlett; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sisters, Sandra Rhind, Shirley O’Brien and brother Gary Howlett.

Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home.  A Celebration of Donna’s life, will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021, beginning with a brief reflection on her life at 2pm, followed by a visitation until 4pm.  A committal service will be held in the Milford Cemetery following the visitation
