Obituary of Margaret Lois Preeper

PREEPER, (Fullerton) Margaret “Peg” – age 88, of Enfield, formerly of Lantz, passed away peacefully in The Magnolia Continuing Care Facility, Enfield on September 6 th , 2020. Born in Barrington Passage, she was the daughter of the late Bentley and Bessie (Akerley) Fullerton. A dedicated teacher who adored children, Peg taught for many years in the little green school in Wellington. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, reading and giving piano lessons. While moving from province to province due to military postings, Peg and her husband Bill remained active and dedicated members in the United Church, most recently with Milford Lantz United Church. Peg is survived by her children; Bill (Kathy Wallace), Shelley (Allan) Young; grandchildren, James (Charlene), Benjamin (Shawna), Jonathan, Emily, Owen; great grandchildren; Elias, Levi, Joshua, Jaxon; siblings; Charles, Rodney, Richard (Phyllis); sister in law; Nancy; many nieces and nephews. Peg was predeceased by her parents; her loving husband of 65 years, Bill; infant brother, James; brother, Bentley; sister in law, Janet Fullerton. Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. A graveside service will be held Sunday in the Gays River Cemetery. Due to Covid 19 restriction, this will be by invitation only. Please share memories and condolences through the funeral home website. Billy and Shelley wish to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff at the Magnolia Continuing Care Facility, especially to those at the Honeysuckle Cottage for treating their mother with such kindness and compassion. Donations in Peg’s memory can be made to the Milford Lantz United Church, Alzheimer’s Society of NS, or a charity of your choice. Graveside Service

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, an invitation only graveside service will be held. Your memories and condolences may be shared with the family by choosing “Tribute Wall” on the memorial menu.
