Very sorry to hear that Darrell has passed - and his family and friends are in my thoughts and prayers. Darrell was always kind to me and remembered me by name each time he saw me. I remember his great joy sharing about his love of the Creator and his love of his Native language and traditions. He will be missed.

Darrel You are gone but not forgotten . We have had talks and laughter and you will be missed .
God, I offer myself to Thee-
To build with me
and to do with me as Thou wilt.
Relieve me of the bondage of self,
that I may better do Thy will.
Take away my difficulties,
that victory over them may bear witness
to those I would help of Thy Power,
Thy Love, and Thy Way of life.
May I do Thy will always!

I am so sorry for your loss of Darrell.I taught Darrell in grade primary in Shubenacadie Elementary school. It was my first year of teaching and while I’ve taught hundreds of children throughout the years, Darrell stood out . He was the first to teach me that you can literally dip everything from cookies to sandwiches in a glass of milk! - Virginia Allen

Maureen, Gloria and family,
Very sorry to hear of Darrell’s sudden passing. I know he was a hockey lover as we had a few good conversations regarding Native Hockey Tournaments. Please accept my sincerest condolences to the entire family. He became a good friend to me over the last few years and will miss his humour.
May you all enjoy and cherish his memory.
