Obituary of Isaac Michael Barnaby

BARNABY, Isaac “Teddy”- age 79 of Truro, passed away February 13, 2020 in Cedarstone Enhanced Care, Truro.  Born in Indian Brook, he was a son of the late Peter Barnaby and Kathleen (Sack) Eaton.

Teddy was a finish carpenter and was known for the quality of his work. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. At one time he assisted his mother as a cook for the Boston Celtics.

He is survived by his godchildren, Mary Margaret Julian, Chasity Lucio and Olivia Howe, all of Indian Brook; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Philomena (Sack) Googoo and stepfather, Charlie Eaton.

Visitation will be held 6-9pm Saturday, February 15th and 2-4pm and 7-9pm Sunday, February 16th at Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Funeral Service will take place 11am Monday, February 17th in St. Kateri’s Roman Catholic Church, Indian Brook, Father Ron Cairns officiating. Cremation to follow, interment will be held in St. Catherine’s Cemetery at a later date.
