Florence Carter Obituary

CARTER, Florence Amelia 99, Truro, passed away peacefully February 25, 2013 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro with family by her side. Born in River Herbert, she was a daughter of the late Percy and Lovica (Negus) Peck. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Florence will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother. She will be sadly missed by her children Helen (Winston) Gallagher, Lower Economy; Sherman (Cathy) Carter, Five Islands; Joan (Cecil) White, Kentville; Arthur (Sharon) Carter, Regina, Sask; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Clayton and 16 siblings. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home. A family graveside service will be held 11am, April 20, 2013 in Sandy Hill Cemetery, Belnan. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
