Ronald Moore Obituary

MOORE, Ronnie S. 66 of Shubenacadie passed away at home on February 27, 2013. Born in Antrim, he was a son of the late Henry and Mary (Dillman) Moore. Ronnie was employed with Guilford's at Imperial Oil as an industrial insulator and at several construction sites over the years. He enjoyed horses, horse pulls, darts, fishing, stock car racing, Texas Hold'em and spending time with his grandchildren. He resided in Shubenacadie for the last twelve years and prior to that in Antrim. He is survived by his former wife and lifetime friend Anne Moore, Elmsdale; daughters Marianne Moore, April Moore; sons Terry Moore and Richard Moore; grandchildren Jessica, Grace, R.J., Tristen and Haylee; sisters Margaret, Rita, Nina and Clara; brothers Henry, Bob, Richard, George and Edgar, several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Freda in infancy and brother Anthony. Visitation Sunday, March 3, from 2pm until 4pm, the time of service in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. David LeBlanc officiating. A reception will be held in the Elmsdale Legion following the service. In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Ronnie may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
