Obituary of Beatrice Lucilla Nicholson
NICHOLSON, Beatrice Lucilla age 78, of Dutch Settlement, passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro, on October 8, 2018.
Born in Annapolis Royal, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Jennie (Morrison) Ellis.
Bea enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and time spent with family. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed crafts, embroidery, sewing, yard sales and flea markets.
She is survived by children, Carl Kerley, Alberta; Joyce (John) Schijns, Stewiacke; Ron Nicholson, Dartmouth; brother, Jack (Gail) Ellis, Bracebridge, ON; grandchildren Amanda Nicholson, Joseph Schijns and Jason Schijns; great grandchildren Roman Nicholson, Lincoln Schijns; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd; brother Carl Ellis.
No visitation by request. Celebration of Life 2pm, Saturday, October 13, 2018 in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, Rev. Canon David Fletcher officiating. Reception to follow in the funeral home hospitality area.
