COOK (WEAVER), A. Marie , 91- Enfield, passed away peacefully Saturday August 24, 2013 in the Magnolia, Enfield. Born in Medford, she was a daughter of the late David and Stella (Fox) Weaver. In her youth she took advantage of educational opportunities and was trained as a Registered Nurse in Montreal. A dedicated family person, she was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was interested in her crafts and completed crypto-quotes and crossword puzzles daily. Marie was an avid gardener when she was able. She is survived by sons David (Charlotte), West La Have, Edward (Wenda), Enfield, Philip (Ellen), Ottawa, ON; grandchildren, Kim, Jill (Mark), Brad (Jenn), Matthew, Heather and Peter; great grandchildren, Mason, Cameron, Rhylan and Tanner; sister Jean Bennett, Kentville; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alvin L.; sisters, Ruth Elaine and Miriam. Visitation will be held from 1pm until time of service, 2pm Tuesday at Ettinger's Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2 Shubenacadie. A reception will follow in the funeral home reception area. Burial to follow in the Gays River Cemetery. Family flowers only, memorial donations may be made to the Magnolia or to the Alzheimer's Society.
