DINGLE (HINES), Sheila Marie - Admiral Rock, Born October 24 1948 - April 6 2013 She fought a short but courageous battle and passed in the presence of her loving family. Sheila spent her entire life caring for others. Most notably she worked at Ravencrest Group Home in Oxford and Bennett's Rest Home in Shubenacadie. She enjoyed beating anyone at darts and winning at Bingo. Last year she took her dream trip to Nashville, Memphis and Dollywood and had an amazing time at the Grand Ol' Opry and Graceland. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend; she will be missed desperately. Sheila is survived by her husband and loving partner of 45 years James Dingle. Their children Beverly Wilson, Richard (Laurie) Dingle, Jo-Ann (Joey) Preeper, and Ernest (Laura) Dingle and Sisters Kathy (Barry) Carlton, Carol (Gerry) Conley, Judy (Danny) Ashley and sisters in law Francine Hines and Suzanne Dingle. She was the proud grandmother to nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her mother and father Shirley and Ernest (Sonny) Hines, brother Barry Hines and son in law Barrie Wilson. Visitation 6-9 pm Monday April 8 with funeral service 2 pm Tuesday April 9, both in Ettinger Funeral Home 2812 Hwy 2 Shubenacadie, Rev, Canon David Fletcher And Rev. Patricia McKenna officiating. The family would like to extend special thank you to her sisters Judy, Kathy and Carol and daughter Beverly for their dedicated care in her final days. Thank you for the kindness and caring of VON, Home care and the Palliative care team. Family flowers only please.
