MILLER ,Edmund “Butch”, age 70 of Enfield. It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our hero. On April 22, 2017 Dad passed away suddenly at home. Born in Halifax, he was a son of the late Fenwick Miller and Joan (Henneberry) Miller–Oakey.
Butch operated Miller’s Family Bakery in Enfield for many years. He loved spending time at the camp with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorothy, daughter Ann (Steve)Ryan, sons Shawn (Dana) and Chris (Lisa); grandchildren Thomas(Amanda) Ryan, Stefanie(Jake) Ryan, Brett Ryan, Adrien Frenette, Trinity Miller, Bridgette Miller and Molly Miller; brother Fenwick Miller; sisters Mona (Charlie), Tina (Norman), Anita (Alan), Elizabeth (John), Patricia (Jack) and Kathy (Brian), many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant brother Gerard.
Cremation has taken place. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11am Wednesday April 26, 2017 at St. Bernard’s Church, Enfield, Father Michael Walsh officiating.
His urn will be placed in St. Bernard's Columbarium following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation of Nova Scotia.
