Obituary of Elda Isenor

ISENOR, Elda "Darlene" - 66, Lantz passed away at home on June 23, 2013. Born in Hamilton, Ontario, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Elda (Shelley) Roung. Darlene enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and gardening most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren. She is survived by her loving and caring husband James Isenor; son Ronnie DeCoste (Rhonda), Hamilton, Ontario; daughter Leanne (Danny) Higgins, Lake Egmont; grandchildren Travis DeCoste, Cassie DeCoste, Billy Higgins, Taylor DeCoste and Jacqueline Higgins; stepsons Donnie Isenor, Sudbury, ON.; and Jamie Isenor, Elliott Lake, ON,; step grandchildren Kyle, Kristopher, Dillon and Bailey; great granddaughter Madison; sister Marjorie (Harvey) Crickmore, St. George, ON.; brother Karl(Lois) Roung, Dundas, ON , daughter in-law Pam Bennett, Havre Boucher. She was predeceased by son Glen DeCoste and infant daughter Teresa May DeCoste. Visitation 5:30 - 7:30pm Thursday, in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie, from where funeral service will be held 2:30pm, Friday, Rev. Canon David Fletcher and Rev. Patty McKenna officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Diabetes Association in Darlene's memory.
