McKAY, Benjamin Allen - age 74, Elmsdale, passed away peacefully at home on March 1st 2015. Born in Little Harbour, he was a son of the late Matthew and Laura (Baker) McKay. He was a hard- working and self- made man, sensitive and kind hearted. He cared deeply about his family and was very generous, always ready to lend a helping hand. Due to the influence of his sister Myrtle you did not walk in the house without him insisting upon you having something to eat. Ben loved hunting, fishing, boating, the ocean, and motor biking. He loved his work. Ben and Debbie were a close team. Ben is survived by his loving wife Debbie (Sim), son Trevor (Jen Poplar), daughter Holly (Graham Stevens); granddaughters Raja-Lynn and Abby-Gayle; brothers Don (Pam), Herbie (Pat); sisters Marion (Tom Monk), Margaret Kidson and Ruby Kidson.
