Obituary of Rex Marsdon Gill

GILL, Rex Marsdon, age 84, Truro, formerly of Kennetcook, passed away February 18, in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Nine Mile River, he was a son of the late Percy and Marion (Wood) Gill. Rex worked in the woods most of his life. He loved hunting, fishing and trapping. He is survived by brothers Cyril, Junior (Shirley), Laurence (Helen); sister Judy Crossman; brother-in-law Walter Beech; sister-in-law Evelyn Gill; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Verna Beech, brothers Cecil and Ralph, brother-in-law Doug Crossman. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. No Visitation or funeral by request. A graveside committal service will be held 11am, Saturday, May 2, 2015, in Clark Cemetery, Lower Onslow, M. Dale Crawford DLM officiating. No flowers please, memorial donations may be made to the IWK Health Foundation or the SPCA.
