Findlay, Roseina - age 84, of Antrim, passed away quietly at home November 20th, 2014. Roseina loved bingo, telling jokes and stories, playing guitar and singing. She loved to drive fast. Her baking and crafts were renowned and appreciated by many. She especially loved her family. She worked at the Dominion store years ago and retired from working at the fish plant. She sold Avon in her community for 40 years. She was a faithful fundraiser for the Rock a thons at St. Paul's over many, many years. Roseina was well known and loved, and she will be dearly missed. She is survived by her children; Guy Matheson, Antrim; Billy (Bev) Matheson, Dartmouth; Roseina (Dave) Gorton, Dartmouth; Debbie (Barry) Jodrey, Gays River; David (Val) Findlay, Elmsdale; Linda (Ed) Kelly, Antrim; grandchildren; Barbie, Little Billie, Trina, Jason, Crystal, Natasha, Cristina, Brandon, Ryan, Alicia, Samantha; 9 great grandchildren; siblings; Maynard, Clyde, Faye and Betty; She was predeceased by her parents Colin and Amelia (Sarson) Negus; siblings; Albert, Gary, Ray, Leo, Guy, Joy, Margaret, Winnifred, and Sheila and Shirley in infancy. Visitation will be held Monday, November 24 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm in Ettinger Funeral Home 2812 Highway 2, Shubenacadie. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 25 at 2 pm in Saint Paul's United Church, Antrim, Rev. Linda Yates officiating. Interment to follow in Saint Paul's United Church Cemetery. A reception will take place following the service. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia would be greatly appreciated.
