BOUCHIE, James "Bud" Howard - 79, Nine Mile River NS. Formerly of Little Dover, Guysborough Co. NS. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James "Bud" Bouchie on Monday, October 6th. After many months in hospital Jim was finally able to come home on Friday before his passing. Born in Little Dover, Jim moved to Halifax in his early years to work at the dockyards. Jim was an active member in the Royal Canadian Legion and enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking, cards, crib and feeding the birds at the farm. He especially enjoyed his annual trips to the camp with great friends. Jim loved music and played guitar and sang. Jim always provided great stories of his many escapades! He will be deeply missed by partner Marj Matheson, her children, Wendy, Troy, Todd and Brandon, all of their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by daughter Michelle (Donald), grandchildren, Andrew and Chelsea, and great grandchildren, Natasha, Christian, Jaxon and Annabelle. Siblings, Evie Keefe, Martin (Val), Emily (Howard), Hilda (Mike), Bobby (Colleen), Joyce, Susie (Danny), Colleen (Kevin), sister-in-law, Jeannie, and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly. Jim was predeceased by his parents Howard and Aleta (Newell) Bouchie; sister, Ethel; brother, Roger; and brother-in-law, Gabe Keefe. Cremation has taken place under the care of Ettinger Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Graveside service at 1pm Saturday, October 11, 2014 in St. Agnes Parish Cemetery, Little Dover. Family flowers only.
